IRENE DORIS COWTON

	IRENE DORIS COWTON

Doris was the youngest of the four children of
Mark & Ada Cowton.

She was born at Seamer (probably at Railway Cottage)
on the 5th August 1913.

	On the 6th February 1932 at Bridlington Reg. Office she was married to LIONEL JAMES ROBSON, a farm labourer, (born at West Lutton on the 12th of September 1903). She was living at home at that time (31 Hungate Lane, Hunmanby) - (Prospect Place cottages - now demolished). Irene Doris died at Hunmanby on the 7th May 1942, aged just 29 years old. Lionel died at Hunmanby on the 1st January 1999.

Doris & Lionel had two daughters:-

IRMA DORIS

Born at Hunmanby 29th February 1932. On the 21st March 1959 she was married at Hunmanby church to NEVILLE GRAINGER (born 10th June1934 at Hunmanby - his mother was a Pledger).

They lived at 52 Stonegate, Hunmanby.

Neville died on the 15th January 2005 in Bridlington Hospital and was buried at Hunmanby.

Doris and Neville had two children:-

	Anita Doris Rachel	born 1961 at Hunmanby. She married Michael John Emmerson, (born at Flamborough 1961), and they had one son:-

	Mathew John, born 1990 at Flamborough.

	Darren James	born 1965 at Hunmanby.

NORMA

Born at Hunmanby 1934.
On the 15th October 1955 she was married at Hunmanby Church to NORMAN DUCKWITH
(born 27th October 1931 at Hunmanby).
They had no family.
Norman died 15th October 1966 at Hunmanby.
Norma settled in Northgate, Hunmanby.
